Karen Kritta is the owner of Karen C. Kritta, CPA where she heads the firms forensic, valuation, and litigation services practice. Ms. Kritta works with attorneys and their clients on the financial matters of divorce that include business valuation, non-marital tracing of assets, property settlements, determination of income for support purposes, spousal maintenance and child support analysis, as well as underlying income tax issues. She is often retained as a neutral, in addition to working in a cooperative or collaborative capacity.
Ms. Kritta has over 32 years of experience in both public accounting and industry, providing consulting services to individuals and closely-held businesses. She is an instructor on family law matters. Her education includes various local and national seminars and conferences on taxation, mediation, family law, and business valuation topics. She has been involved in the Financial Early Neutral Evaluation (FENE) process since the program’s infancy and is on the Roster in many jurisdictions.

Ms. Kritta is a graduate of Saint Cloud State University with a Bachelor in Science degree in Accounting. She is the author of Chapter 3 of the Family Law Financial Deskbook, 2nd Edition, “Determining Income for Maintenance and Support” published by the Minnesota State Bar Association. In addition, she has been a frequent facilitator at Divorce Camp, sponsored by the Minnesota Chapter of the American Association of Matrimonial Lawyers.
